The terms that apply when buying from or selling to us.

These terms and conditions govern the sale and purchase of vehicles between you and The London Left Hand Drive Centre. By enquiring about, reserving, buying or selling a vehicle with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. Please read them carefully. If there is anything you do not understand, contact us before you proceed.

We strive for accuracy in every vehicle description, specification and price we publish. However, specifications and availability are subject to change, and details may be updated or corrected without notice. Photographs and images are for illustration only; the actual vehicle, its trim, colour and equipment may differ. Mileage, service history and condition are described to the best of our knowledge at the time of listing.
A vehicle shown as available may be reserved or sold by the time you enquire, as our stock moves quickly. Please confirm all details, including specification and availability, with us directly before committing to a purchase.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£ GBP) and are subject to change. Prices include VAT where applicable, and any VAT position will be confirmed at the point of sale. Vehicles shown as "Call us", "POA" (price on application) or similar are priced by enquiry; please contact us for the current price. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, in which case we will let you know before the sale is concluded.
We accept payment by cash, bank transfer or bankers' draft. Other payment arrangements may be available by agreement. A deposit is required to reserve a vehicle and to take it off sale. The balance is due in full, and cleared, before collection or delivery of the vehicle. A vehicle remains our property until payment has been received in full and has cleared.
If you are selling your left-hand drive car to us, we offer a free, no-obligation valuation. We may arrange an inspection of the vehicle before confirming our offer, and our offer is subject to that inspection and to the vehicle matching the description you have provided.
Many of the vehicles we handle are imported left-hand drive cars. Where a vehicle requires UK registration, we can assist with the process. A Certificate of Conformity (COC) and other supporting documentation may be required to register or re-register a vehicle. Responsibility for registration, timescales and any associated fees will be confirmed in writing for each transaction. Imported vehicles may be supplied registered or unregistered depending on the arrangement agreed with you.
You are welcome to collect your vehicle from our Barnes showroom by appointment. We can also arrange delivery throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, the USA and the Middle East. Delivery is arranged by agreement, and any delivery costs, timescales and logistics will be confirmed before your purchase is finalised. Risk in the vehicle passes to you on collection or delivery.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Where you buy as a consumer, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including those relating to goods being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described — remain unaffected.
We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under law. Subject to that, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from any transaction will not exceed the price paid for the vehicle concerned.
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
